Stretch, Ginger Wide Leg Or Skinny - Your Choice
You know, I just love designer jeans, don't you? But I like to get the right fit too and that's not easy. I'm lucky to be tall and my weight is pretty well under control so I can wear 'em tight and I do. And I love to wear them with the best looking heels I can find. The two retailers I trust for women's designer jeans are Sak's Fifth Avenue and Nordstrom's. Sak's has a category they label "The Jean Pool" which has a little blurb about the originator and lists the celebs who wear the brand. While several new denim brands have emerged recently I still hanker after the cut and look of Seven for All Mankind. I don't think anyone has beat them yet. The current move to the "ginger" wide leg and the "skinny" high waist both leave me a bit cold but then maybe my contour is OK without these latest techniques to raise the butt.As far as Nordstrom's is concerned, most of you know me well enough to know that they are my favorite store and happen to be close by and as far as online shopping goes, Nordstrom's website does offer me more views of the jeans than other outlets. I guess I'm pretty biased but they do seem to be carrying a more comprehensive selection that anyone else. I am almost always intrigued enough by the online cover to want to go to the store and see a pair of their women's designer jeans in my size. What can I say? I said I was biased!
As far as individual picks in the women's designer jeans category I love these.
